Many of us will watch the opening ceremony of the XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro tonight. We will sit in front of the TV, and we will cheer for our team. Over the next two weeks, this nation will be truly united.
“Have you even read the United States constitution? I will gladly lend you my copy. Look for the words LIBERTY and EQUAL PROTECTION OF LAW.”

So many immigrants before me; did they all feel the same? The mix of emotions is overwhelming.
I love my husband; I love being his wife, but this move is scary. I am excited to be here, but I am also worried.

I liked to draw pictures when I was a child. I wasn’t any good at it, but that didn’t stop me from doing so. My drawings were always full of life and colors; they told beautiful stories of dogs, cats, cows and roosters. I drew pictures of our farm with green fields, beautiful trees and gigantic flowers. No matter what I drew, there was always a smiling sun in the corner.

When I started blogging I only wrote about smoking and about how I felt, after I had kicked the addiction to the curb, because it was very important to me.
