My husband, the crazy, wonderful man I have been married to for decades, worked 14 hours straight, two days in a row. Which—how do I put it mildly—is completely insane.

Look at him! Glancing at his human with loyalty in his eyes. They don’t know each other for too long, they just met. Mark took ownership of the dog three weeks ago when a young girl who had the dog before needed to rehome him. That’s where Drama’s story begins. How it will end? I don’t know but I am trying my best to change his future.

Our puppy Vader is now roughly six months old -give or take a few weeks. We all together have survived the last ten weeks without major damage to animals, humans, or surroundings.

The other day a shoe ran by me -it had a puppy attached. The sliding glass door was open, it all happened so quickly. Still trying to wake up, I wasn’t fast enough, or perhaps I took my time, after all, it wasn’t my shoe.

So your kids will be at spring break for longer than you hoped they would. School is out -and the way it looks like it will be out for a while. Leaves you with one question:
What to do with the kids?

Animals never fail to surprise me. I work in animal rescue for many years, and always when I think I have seen it all, along comes a story that touches my heart and makes me smile for days.

Only his white muzzle shows his age, he is 13 years old but doesn’t act like it. Two years ago we rescued a puppy, and from this day on he decided to be playful again. Not a day goes by when they don’t play and run. Then they come in panting, and they lay down and sleep for a few hours.

Patches had come into our home last year as a little puppy, right after she and her siblings had been rescued. She bonded instantly with our big dogs, they took her in and accepted her as part of our family.
