How honest should I be on my blog? I always wondered about that. I could answer, “I am fine”, which I am, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg, a facade because most of us have the same defense mechanism. “I am fine,” isn’t that the answer we mostly give, even when we are not?

We all have childhood memories triggered by certain smells from a kitchen or the sight of a dish we haven’t seen in a long time. I am no exception. I love the smell of roasted chestnuts or freshly baked apple pie like everybody else. But in my case, it’s much simpler. There is no smell, no sight of cake, torte, or roast that transports me back to my childhood as quickly as a jar of chocolate spread.

Imagine children from childcare through 8th grade developing the skills to cultivate greater happiness in life. What a wonderful idea to introduce happiness, to accept that one can adapt and change the mindset to BE HAPPIER.

Something happened last week, that made me rethink and reevaluate my beliefs (?) or perhaps as someone who claims to be agnostic, I should not use the word BELIEVE, but instead call it opinion.
