
It was the month after Christmas and all through the house
nothing would fit me, not even a blouse.
The cookies I’d nibbled, the eggnog I’d taste,
at the holiday parties had gone to my waist.

Of course, I needed a Fitbit. Everybody else is wearing one and I wanted to try it as well -and why not. The goal is to walk at least 10,000 steps a day, and how much easier would it be to achieve it, with a wristband that would count and log all my efforts.
It’s spring time and many of us will start working out again. It’s time to lose our Christmas butt and the candy-love-handles we have gotten during the winter time.
