Let’s go back 45 years and let’s travel to Bavaria, in the South of Germany -again. A girl in her robe, wearing Austrian knitted houseshoes, is on her way to the auditorium. In one hand a blanket, in the other a plastic cup full of gummy bears, she joins all the other girls and the nuns who watch over them when school is over and during the nights. The little girl sits down full of anticipation. During the day the room was used for music classes and the drama club. On special events, the parents and family sat in the audience and watched the children sing and perform.
It was late in the evening, I was glued in front of your small TV and watched The Birds by Alfred Hitchcock. My Grandmother had long gone to bed, the living room was dark, and I enjoyed staying up late, as every child does.
The coming Sunday, just like every year, golden Oscars will be handed over to the creme de la creme. Hollywood will celebrate Hollywood, and only the best and worthy will win -so they say.
I haven’t been online much lately, as a matter of fact, I haven’t been anything much lately. After Christmas, I had an incident in the bathroom. I bent down to pick something up and woke up a few seconds later on the floor, pinned between door and wall.

My husband comes home in the evening and he turns on the TV. It’s his favorite past time entertainment. News, sports, shows and documentaries, there is always something on, that is worth watching. Some shows I like and we watch them together, but often I lose interest and my mind wanders of.

The always remaining question, was he really existing or was his persona just made up, always fascinated me. But, I would have stepped through the door to Camelot, not because of King Arthur, Guinevere and Sir Lancelot, but because of Merlin, the greatest Wizard of all.
