
Like every year, our little tree is getting ready for winter. The leaves just started to wilt and soon they will fall to the ground. What will be left will be a bare tree, waiting for the wintertime.

The amount of wrapping paper that many people use and then throw away around Christmas time is mindblowing. Rolls of glittery paper are being cut up, trashcans are overflowing at the 25th of December, even though it’s so easy to find environmental friendly ideas.

The United States of America will leave the Paris Climate Agreement. The decision angered me, and once again I felt helpless, and I know a lot of you, on both sides of the aisle, feel exactly the way I do.

This woman held up a sign that says it all. We live in the 21st century and have to march for science. Absurd indeed! What better day for a protest for science, than Earth Day.

“Women can be anything they want to be,” my Grandmother told me when I was just a little girl, and it was quite a statement back in the 70’s. ANYTHING meant there was no limit. I could become an astronaut or a fireman; I could play soccer for a living or be a famous mountain climber, perhaps even lead a nation.
