The mountain landscape in Tyrol, Austria is already sugared white and well-known old and new Christmas music can be heard on the radio during December.

I have to say, I currently miss the person I was on November 5th. At the present time, I feel I am fed up with historical moments for quite a while. How many can there be in a few years and when should you take a breath in between?

Nothing has changed. I am still searching for my morning laugh every day but yesterday I decided to look a recipe up first because my Prince Charming had wished for Smashed Burgers and so searched for suitable, short, and easy recipes.

June was a month of contradictions. Church or strip club? (More about this later) My nerves got the best of me, by now I act like a snapping turtle. Mostly calm on the outside but boy, if you come too close I will bite your head off if I get a chance.

My March was eventful. It gave me a few surprises, many laughs, a couple of wonderful movie nights, and a few tears. There was success and confusion. I made a mistake that should have never happened and my pride got a damper. On the other hand – because there is always a silver lining – I am proud of how I reacted.

Today is Currywurst Tag/Curry Sausage Day, and if you never tried one, then you missed out on one of the best fast foods there is and I have tried many, so you can trust me on this.

My favorite sandwich, ever since I was a little girl, is the Austrian/German Tomaten-Brot a piece of bread with slices of homegrown tomatoes, garnished with chives and/or diced onions.
