We don’t know his birthday. We took him in on August 5th, 2022 when he was approximately three months old, and decided a few months later that May 5th will be known to the world as Vader’s birthday, which makes today his first birthday.

A 38-year-old born Prince decided to wash the royal dirty laundry in a book. While officially turning his back on the royals in Great Britain, he most certainly gets the royal treatment -as demanded- everywhere he goes and he is cashing in on his fame, his position, and royalties nicely.
Our puppy Vader is now roughly six months old -give or take a few weeks. We all together have survived the last ten weeks without major damage to animals, humans, or surroundings.
Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Secretary Day, Valentine’s Day for lovers, Husband appreciation day, Wife Appreciation Day. Why do we have these special days? Is it because we have forgotten to show appreciation on a daily base. We sure still say PLEASE and THANK YOU, so why do we feel it is not enough?
I will lend to you for awhile a puppy,
For you to love her while she lives
and to mourn for her when he is gone.
Maybe for 12 or 14 years, or maybe for 2 or 3

take care of her for me?
Some things only happen on TV. The bad things, even when based on a true story, never happen in our own neighborhoods. We live in a safe cocoon. Crime and violence happen somewhere else, until one day when it sets foot in your own neighborhood.
