What’s your most memorable (good or bad) airplane flight?

Many years ago I booked a flight to Gran Canaria, one of the Spanish, Canary Islands. Only three people boarded the plane – I was one of them. It made me feel very uncomfortable; an almost empty plane is spooky. I looked at all the vacant seats and wondered what had happened.

If you have been to a foreign country name those you have been too?

I was born in Europe, moved to the U.S. when I was 20 and started working for a company who paid me to travel the world. I have been very lucky, because I saw many places I wanted to see, but it was although a very stressful time. I packed and unpacked on an almost weekly base and I spend a lot of times in airplanes and airports. The only continent I haven’t been is Australia.

I was in a boarding school from an early age on. It was a private, Catholic school, a famous school for privileged kids. I was good in sports and had a full scholarship from an early age on.

A lot of people gave me lots of advice in my life, especially when I was younger. Some suggestions were welcomed, others not so much. Over the years I learned to sort them into two piles “good”, meaning it’s worth thinking about it and “bad”, meaning not worth the trouble.
