This was my place a couple of days ago.
At a lake, there’s nothing to complain about.
The restaurant is already open, but there are no people.
It’s spring but still very cold, especially in the morning.

I often wonder why and how people vote, not just here but all over the world, at least in the parts where we are allowed to vote freely, where our voices are heard. What a difference we can make when we vote, but so often we cast our ballot without thinking.

Happy New Year! How many of these messages did you have on your phone this morning? A whole year full of joy, actually that’s a wonderful wish. Especially when it’s cheered full of emotion at midnight. Then, when we are overwhelmed and maybe a little drunk, when we might burn our hands on the sparklers and are frightened by the bang of firecrackers.

Last night my thoughts were with the five men who were missing, stuck in a vessel on the ocean ground for days, we assumed. Their time was running out -or perhaps already had already run out. It was a search and rescue mission.

Yesterday I had an affair, today I am back at my desk, trying to relax! Trying to shake my irritation off. What a week?

Just be who I am,
no judgment by others
without too many worries
living my life.

Most of my blogging friends are so much adventurous than I ever could be. What will I do in the new year to be better, to be healthier, to be more balanced? I have no clue. If I don’t watch it, I will just end up doing more of the same -again.

Feeling too safe, too quickly
Forgetting the ones we lost
What’s going to be the price I wonder
Restarting life at all costs

For more than a year now
do I sit here and listen,
to all what they say
about hopes and dreams.
