A woman was flying from Melbourne to Brisbane. Unexpectedly, the plane was diverted to Sydney.

Ole Lena Banner Final

Ole and Lena went to the same Lutheran Church. Lena went every Sunday and taught Sunday School. Ole went on Christmas and Easter, and maybe a few times during the year.
One Sunday, Ole was sitting in the pew right behind Lena and got to noticing what a fine looking woman she was.

I have always been fascinated by the origins of phrases and saying. I spend some time in Great Britain and remember the phrase “spend a penny”, but never really knew where it came from.

“Spend a Penny” = using a public lavatory.
