I never wanted an Alexa or a Siri, they come with our phones and with Amazon Fire TV, yet they have be shunned by us to live in silence, waiting forever to hear our voice allowing them to come to live, doomed to wait for whatever short-lived life they -and we- might have.
A bagpiper was recently asked by a funeral director to play at a graveside service for a homeless man. He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauper’s cemetery in the back country. The bagpiper was not familiar with the backwoods, he got lost and, being a typical man, he didn’t stop for directions.

Here are some actual maintenance complaints -generally known as squawks or problems- submitted recently by Qantas pilots to maintenance engineers. After attending to the squawks prior to the aircraft’s next flight, the maintenance crews are required to log the details of action taken as a solution to the pilots squawks. The following are some recent squawks and subsequent responses by maintenance crews.
My Grandmother was a wise woman , she taught me a lot. She too had a great sense of humor, so I am certain the following list would make her laugh.
The following are examples from a book called “Disorder in the American Courts” and I would like to give you a fair warning: “Stop eating, chewing and drinking before you start reading.” I almost choked on my cookie. This are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters, who had the torment of staying calm, while these exchanges were actually taking place.
We were invited to a wedding and this time it was not a close friend or a family member, it was a business associate of my husband and we had to go. Wedding or family parties in general are only fun if you care about the people, it’s mostly very boring if you “have to go” and the only thing you can think of, is finding a polite way to leave as soon as possible.

Ole and Lena went to the same Lutheran Church. Lena went every Sunday and taught Sunday School. Ole went on Christmas and Easter, and maybe a few times during the year.
One Sunday, Ole was sitting in the pew right behind Lena and got to noticing what a fine looking woman she was.
