We live in an older community governed by a homeowners association. In order to build an add-on structure such as a pergola, I have to get a detailed building plan that is compliant with the city codes. I can’t just say that I need a pergola and get the project approved.

Some slogans and signs are just asking for IT and I can understand my fellow smart asses, who just can’t help themselves.

I will not pretend that I understand it all. I am not a politician; I make an honest living like so many of us. I read the news, sadly lots of it doesn’t make any sense. Maybe I am not smart enough to see the bigger picture or perhaps too smart to be fooled easily.
