It seems like the daily prompt is back to normal for the moment, but I still would like to keep the writing challenge going.

I am a morning person, love life and have no problem getting up. Over the years my motivation might have changed a little bit, but why wouldn’t I want to get up? Life itself drives me and the need to pee. 🙂
A good of friend of mine passed away recently. She was 95 1/2 years old and it wasn’t unexpected, but still death left a mark once again. I met her when she was in her late 80’s and fell instantly in love with the little, stubborn, old Lady, who became our neighbor.
“Hate” can be found on every corner these days, often accompanied by fear; it seems these two go hand in hand. Fear of the unknown, hate toward a stranger. “He can’t have what is mine”, like we all would be still sitting in a big sandbox building sand castles. “Don’t touch me,” “Don’t invade my space.” We do sound like children, what are we scared off?
I took the day off today, my husband is working, the house is clean and the dogs are sleeping. It’s me time, “Yeah…blogging time”; let’s see what other’s are up to?
Oh, I had to laugh about today’s prompt and even though I am in puppy-raising vacation, I couldn’t help it and wanted to write something about it.
This is a post for a friend of mine, who has been told he has to stop smoking by his doctor. He is a handsome, young man with a few health issues that can be controlled, but smoking works against him. I can only imagine how much harder it must be to stop against your will. This one is for you Eric 🙂
I was a great student, loved school and was a fast learner. Went to the the highest school the Gymnasium, had good grades 1-2 (A-B) no drama at all…until I decided to learn English as well. I mastered Latin and Old Greek, spoke German and Italian from an early age on. English would be just a walk in the park, such a simple language…I had been told.
