I wish a machine would give me access to other people’s feelings. I am not interested in their secrets, even though I can imagine it would be very entertaining -and shocking- to find all the skeletons hidden in the closets, but the truth is, human beings puzzle me. I would love to see what others feel and think, and why they act the way they do.

Like a deep moan between the hectic breaths, like a need to sit down now that doesn’t stop, even if you’ve been sitting down for a long time.

worn by grotesques and monsters
