I am still shocked and confused by the outcome of the Presidential election, and I am upset with all the people, who so arrogantly thought they know it all.
“Don’t you worry, Trump will never be President, in the end, it all will be fine. The U.S. has a way to stop people like him. We have a constitution and an election process that works.”

I follow so many bloggers who seem to be struggling with their own identity. “I feel lost,” that’s a statement I have read over and over. It always makes me wonder what happened to them. How can you get lost, if you are always there?
“I think I need to tell you that I am getting older,” he said, almost as he would ask for my permission.
“I noticed,” I looked at him and smiled.
“I just thought I needed to let you know.”
“I am glad you did and it’s fine with me. I am getting older too.”
“I haven’t noticed,” he said and it made me smile even more.
Our first community garage sale is this weekend and please don’t ask me why, but I decided to participate, even though our original plans got shaken up when my husband was asked to fly to Florida for one week.

This is an actual conversation between me and my husband, that took place not so long ago.
He had just gotten home and he came into the kitchen with a sour look on his face.
Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive double-pane energy efficient kind, and today, I got a call from the contractor who installed them. He was complaining that the work had been completed a whole year ago and I still hadn’t paid for them.
The French President, is sitting in his office when his telephone rings. “Hello, Mr. President!” a heavily accented voice said. “This is Paddy down at the Harp Pub in County Mayo, Ireland. I am ringing you to inform you that we are officially declaring war on you and your country.”
